Short Bio
I come from a family of artists and started doing artwork at a young age and have a personal collection of work dating back to the early 1970’s. I am a member Rio Grande Art Association and display my work at Yucca Art Gallery in Old Town Albuquerque.
Biography
Kevin Dooley was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived near Churchill Downs for the first 14 years of his life. He moved to Albuquerque with his family fifty one years ago and loves New Mexico. His father was an artist who inspired Kevin to follow in his footsteps. He was a positive influence for Kevin’s creativity and skill development. Kevin has a brother and nephew who are also established artists. He is married, has two children and two step children. He has 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, During his careers in criminal justice and college instruction Kevin used his art skills whenever he had the opportunity. Since his retirement he has devoted much of his time to professional artwork. Many of his works of art are on display at Yucca Art Gallery in Old Town Albuquerque, He also does commissioned artwork and is a member of the Rio Grande Art Association
